Matamec Explorations Inc.: announced that it has identified two large rare-earth and niobium anomalies during its soil sampling campaign in the Surprise showing area. The first soil anomaly, "Surprise", is roughly 1.2 km long by more than 200 metres wide (0.4 km2) and includes the Surprise showing mid-length. The Surprise showing was recently stripped and channel sampled, with a best interval of 2m @ 5.3% TREO, 67% of HeavyREO + Y2O3/TREO, 3.6% ZrO2 and 3.9% Nb2O5. The second of the large soil anomalies, "Surprise B", is roughly 1.4 km long by more than 200m wide (0.5 km2). It is located 1 km east of the first anomaly and is of similar intensity (about four times background). This sector has not been intensely explored and the presence of a rare-earths-niobium anomaly therefore opens up the possibility of new showings being found in the sector.

Volta Resources Inc.: announced the latest results from the drilling program completed in July on the company's Kiaka Gold Project. The Kiaka project is located approximately 120 kilometres southeast of Ouagadougou, the capital city of Burkina Faso. To date, 155 holes (22,818 metres) have been drilled in the Central Area. Mineralization ranged up to 16.83 grams per ton gold. Volta Resources Inc.
