4:48 PM EST - : Spare Backup, Inc. : announced that it has reached a 2 year agreement covering its recently launched annual backup agreement with DSGI, the top consumer electronics and PC retailer in the UK and European region. Spare and DSGI intend to support the eventual roll out of the in store one year subscription to over 1,300 DSGI stores spanning 28 countries. Both companies have agreed to an incentive program whereby DSGI can acquire additional warrants to purchase up to 5% of the common stock of Spare Backup at $0.30 per share provided it meets certain predetermined monthly sales targets which start at an average of 20,000 units per month over a six month period.

4:45 PM EST - : Coates International, Ltd. : announced that Coates was awarded four new patents in the Republic of China, and was awarded eighteen patents in the USA to date, with more than one hundred corresponding patents worldwide. This means that the Coates Spherical Rotary Valve (CSRV) Engines and technology is protected by full patents in the US and around the world. The Company is in talks with officials of various states in the US regarding the utilization of the CSRV engines for numerous natural gas and alternative fuel applications.

12:05 PM EST - : Silver Dragon Resources Inc. : announced that Gansu Shengda Group Ltd., a private Chinese conglomerate, has agreed to acquire 52% of the equity interests in Sanhe Sino-Top Resources & Technologies, Ltd. from Huaguan Industrial Corp. (``HIC''), Silver Dragon's state-owned Chinese joint venture partner. Shengda and HIC have entered into an agreement whereby HIC will transfer 52% of its stake in Sino-Top to Shengda's mining investment arm, Beijing Shengda Zhenxin Industrial Corporation. As a future 40% minority owner of Sino-Top, Silver Dragon has consented to this transfer.

12:02 PM EST - : Elbit Vision Systems Ltd. : announced that it has a won a tender against a number of competitors to provide Israel Railways with a high-speed rail inspection system. The order is valued at over $1.5 million. The final contract is expected to be signed in the coming week. EVS' high speed rail inspection system is a fully integrated ultrasonic inspection car fitted with complete mechanical hardware, a transducer sled and a sophisticated couplant system. The system performs high-speed digital data acquisition, imaging, process and evaluation, and provides reports and analysis on the inspected rails' degradation and defect propagation.

4:30 PM EST - : Brookside Technology Holdings Corp. : announced financial results for the three months ended September 30, 2008, and provided a business update on the company. The Company reported $5.7 million of revenue for the third quarter of 2008 as compared to $0.9 million in the same period last year. The 510% increase is attributable to sales initiatives put in place by management in 2008, as well as the Company's acquisitions of US Voice & Data, LLC in September 2007 and Standard Tel Networks, LLC in September 2008. The Company's gross margin was 43.9% for the third quarter compared to 40.1% for same quarter last year, due primarily to an improved product mix and the Comapny's focus on higher margin sales.
