Without our health, we have pretty much nothing. Such is the message constantly being reinforced by world leaders in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Hamilton, Ontario-based Reliq Health Technologies Inc. (TSX-Venture:RHT) is a technology company that develops innovative mobile health and telemedicine solutions for Community-Based Healthcare. Wednesday, RHT announced that it has signed a contract with Kentucky-based MedTech Evolutions, LLC, to provide its iUGO Care platform to over 27,000 eligible Medicare patients in Alabama, Illinois, Mississippi and Tennessee.
Reliq will be providing its iUGO Care platform and associated support services to MedTech Evolutions’ clients. Onboarding is expected to begin in April. Each patient on the platform will generate approximately $65 U.S. per month in SaaS and support services revenue.
Reliq popped eight cents, or 22.5%, in Wednesday’s last hour, to 43.5 cents, on 1.7 million shares.
While not a health-services company, Plano, Texas-based Sharing Services Global Corporation (OTC:SHRG) a holding companies whose business to buy from and sell to innovative companies, products and technologies in the direct selling industry, reassuring its many clients it was sensitive to the current COVID-19 situation.
