Calgary-based TVI Pacific Inc. (TSX-Venture:TVI) chimed in with its latest installment of its adventures in the Philippines.

TVI provided investors with a construction update with respect to the Balabag gold and silver project, owned 100% by TVI Resource Development Phils., Inc. a Philippines corporation in which TVI holds a 30.66% interest, and is located in Zamboanga del Sur, Philippines.

The junior miner’s news release Wednesday outlined the progress the company has made, amid the backdrop of the COVID-19 outbreak.

Project development has continued at Balabag as TVI has continued its focus to ensure that all employees know about and adhering to precautionary measures.  Required materials and supplies continue to arrive to site and construction to date has been ongoing and has progressed satisfactorily.

Among the significant project development: Ongoing construction of the Processing Plant, completion of equipment installation and electrical works related to the crushing plant, as well as ongoing rehabilitation works related to the SAG mill and ball mills at the grinding area.

The good vibes the larger market is feeling made its way into the stock price of TVI, which climbed half a cent, or 33.3%, to two cents, on volume of 187,000 shares.
