Excellent news on the health-care front Monday: Sunnyvale, Calif.-based Arrayit Corporation (OTC:ARYC) told investors its physician-prescribed finger stick allergy testing services are now available in-network from a leading commercial health insurance company.

A news release toward the end of Monday’s trading day further explained that in-network health-care providers enjoy advantages in the health-care markets including greater doctor and patient access, simplified billing and streamlined reimbursement.

The contracted top five commercial health insurer provides premium health-care services to tens of millions of Americans and reports aggregate annual revenues exceeding $40 billion.

CEO Rene Schena said, “We are delighted to report in-network status for our premium allergy testing services with a major commercial health insurer as a means of more easily serving, via their doctors, the nearly 60 million Americans with allergy and asthma symptoms.”

Arrayit claims to be the leader among those firms who “research, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, clinical and health-care sectors through the discovery, development and manufacture of proprietary life science and personalized medicine products and services to advance biomedical research and improve human health and wellness.”

Shares in ARYC galloped nearly 8% by Monday’s close to 8.25 cents, on volume surpassing 1.7 million shares.
