The line between traditional casino gaming and digital entertainment continues to blur. Social casinos give operators a way to put familiar casino experiences in front of players without requiring a trip to the gaming floor, creating another distribution channel for established game developers. For companies that already own recognizable casino content, the opportunity is less about inventing new games and more about putting proven titles in front of a much larger digital audience.

Shares of Galaxy Gaming Inc. (OTCQB: GLXZ) are gaining Wednesday after the Las Vegas-based casino game developer announced a strategic online content partnership with Ruby Seven Studios, a social casino operator and technology provider owned by Delaware North.

Under the agreement, Ruby Seven will develop, publish, market and distribute digital social casino versions of Galaxy Gaming's proprietary table games across its network of consumer applications and casino-branded platforms.

The deal puts some of Galaxy's best-known titles into the mix, including 21+3®, Perfect Pairs®, Lucky Ladies®, Cajun Stud®, Texas Hold'em Bonus Poker® and EZ Baccarat®. Ruby Seven also secured worldwide social casino exclusivity for select titles, including Three Card Prime®, High Card Flush®, Super Omaha Poker™, Players Edge 21®, 3 Dice Baccarat®, Caribbean Stud®, 3 Card Hold'em® and Deuces Wild Extreme®.

The size of Ruby Seven's existing distribution network gives the partnership immediate relevance. The company currently supports 53 retail casinos across 25 U.S. states, with distribution channels that include Bally Play, Best Bet Casino, Choctaw Slots, FoxPlay Casino and other social gaming experiences.

For Galaxy Gaming, that provides another avenue to extend intellectual property already established on physical and online casino floors. The company holds more than 140 gaming licenses worldwide, including licenses across 28 U.S. states and more than 30 countries, while its Galaxy Gaming Digital business licenses proprietary table games to the online gaming industry.

"Ruby Seven has established itself as a leading social casino operator and technology provider, and this agreement represents an important opportunity to introduce our innovative table game experiences to millions of social casino players worldwide," said Galaxy Gaming President and CEO Matt Reback.

The companies also plan to explore additional game launches and strategic content opportunities, potentially expanding the relationship beyond the initial portfolio.

For Galaxy Gaming, the strategy is straightforward: take recognizable casino games, pair them with an established digital distribution network, and put that content in front of players well beyond the traditional casino floor.

Shares of GLXZ are up 3.0% to $1.74 in Wednesday morning trading.
