A Mont Royal-based junior miner had quite the session on Tuesday after it was announced that the company saw highly encouraging results from a recent drilling campaign on the newly discovered ultramafic magmatic intrusive complex hosting base metal mineralisation at its Lac Brulé project in Quebec, Canada, according to a release.

Shares of SRQ Resources Inc. (TSXV:SRQ) went flying on the technical results of the press release, with shares closing up at $0.31/share (+264.71%). This massive move broke the multi-month downtrend this stock has been stuck in since August of last year.

SRQ Resources Inc. engages in the base metal exploration and development business in Canada. The company explores for nickel, copper, and the platinum group elements. It owns 525 exploration claims located in Quebec. The company was formerly known as Sama Resources Québec Inc. and changed its name to SRQ Resources Inc. in May 2023. SRQ Resources Inc. was incorporated in 2021 and is headquartered in Mont Royal, Canada. Sama Resources Quebec Inc. operates as a subsidiary of Sama Resources Inc.
