Junior Miner Rallies Strongly On Discovery Announcement

A dually-listed junior miner is turning heads on Tuesday after the company confirmed a major new copper porphyry discovery at its Hercules Property located in western Idaho.

Traders were excited about the technical specs from this finding, but we think it might be more of a compounding rally seeing that this announcement came just days after the company announced that it entered into a lease option agreement. Shares of Hercules Silver Corp. (TSXV:BIG) (OTCQB:BADEF) rallied strongly on the news, with shares trading on the Canadian side trading around $0.32/share (+28.00%) at the time of writing.

Hercules Silver Corp is a junior mining company focused on the exploration and development of the Hercules Silver Project, northwest of Cambridge, Idaho. The company is focused on the exploration and development of a large-scale disseminated silver-lead-zinc system at Hercules with over 28,000 meters of historical drilling and a newly discovered copper porphyry target which adds significant scale and discovery potential to the system.
