A Canadian pharmaceutical company is turning heads so far during Wednesday’s premarket hours after the company announced that it has completed additional studies on orthotopic human tumor models in mice confirming its K1.1 mRNA Lipid Nanoparticle (K1.1-mRNA-LNP) product as a novel therapeutic agent for human hepatocellular carcinoma.

While the release was rather technical in nature, the bottom line is that traders got excited about the news, snatching up shares of Sunshine Biopharma Inc. (Nasdaq:SBFM). The micro cap is currently bid up at $3.09/share (+48.56% implied open for sellers) at the time of writing.
